My name is Donatella.

I first approached art through ceramics and their decoration . Recently, I have been interested in illustration. I especially like to design for children's books as they allow me to explore my imagination. Sometime I create stories and characters for them. My tales for children have been critically acclaimed. I live in Scandicci, near Florence, Italy.

My favourite technique are: drawing, ink, water colour, tempera and mixed technique.
