I obtained the artistic diploma and two certificates on porcelain and majolica paintings.
I studied in several artist’s studios, and attended the Illustration Courses held by Mrs Maja Dusikova.
As an illustrator I have been awarded of various prizes in Italian competitions (“Sulle ali delle farfalle” Bordano, “Stepan Zavrel” Cassano allo Ionio, “Exhibition on Warhol” in Uffizi –Florence-) and on the occasion of the ‘Torre del Lago Puccini’ competition (famous resort in Versilia) I won the first prize, by designing a Carnival poster which has been reproduced in various promotion materials: playbill, postcard and sticker.
Moreover, my illustrations have been published in two books edited by 'Edizioni Tassinari' (Florence) and ‘Letizia Editore’ (Arezzo).
In addition, I take part in many art exhibitions: the last in Prague with the title: “Italian illustrators meet Komensky”.
My favourite technique are: drawing, ink, water colour, tempera and mixed technique.
I especially like to design for children's books as they allow me to explore my imagination. Sometime I create stories and characters for them. My tales for children have been critically acclaimed.
My skill path's curriculum includes different jobs, since I improved my skills as a ceramist, employee, librarian and primary teacher. According with this last activity, on several occasions I managed various creative and expressive projects.
I live in Scandicci, near Florence, Italy.
